January 26 Happiest momentToday is 26th January - Indian Republic day.
On this special occasion, I would like to share with you my happiest moment of year 2007.
I was mentoring at International Students' orientation at AUT University last year. After the welcome ceremony, the presenter asked if any of the new students could come on stage and sing their national anthem. I with my very good friend Chandan was at the last row in town hall and we were surprised when an Indian guy came up to sing the anthem and gave his introduction.
The moment he started singing the Indian national anthem, me and Chandan obviously stood up but very surprisingly, when we looked at the front, EVERY INDIAN was standing straight and singing the national anthem!!
It was so touching. We both were very happy to see this attitude and the respect from our juniors to our great nation.
